Beta for iOS and Android

Privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TripPad handles personal data in the app, on the website and through support.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This version describes the current beta, with no charge or subscription offering.

1. Controller and contact

TripPad is responsible for the processing decisions described in this policy. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@trippad.app and general requests to support@trippad.app.

Corporate identification, legal address and other required registration details will be added before store publication.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the TripPad app, trippad.com.br, trip invitations and support communications. External services accessed through their own links follow their providers' policies.

3. Data you provide

We process data needed to create your account and provide the features you choose.

  • Name, email, profile image, language, nationality, birth date and currency or time-zone preferences when provided
  • Trips, destinations, dates, activities, checklists and responsibilities
  • Participants, expenses, splits, receipts and personal budget
  • Documents uploaded to the vault
  • Messages and attachments sent to support

4. Data collected automatically

We may record IP address, date and time, app version, operating system, session identifiers, push token and technical logs needed for authentication, security and diagnostics.

The public website does not use analytics in this release and does not install advertising cookies.

5. Sign-in and third-party services

When you choose Apple or Google sign-in, we receive data authorized by that provider, such as identifier, name and email. Firebase may support the technical social sign-in flow.

We also use hosting, database, file storage, email and push-notification providers. Each provider receives only what is needed for its role.

6. Why we use data

We use data to create and protect accounts, provide trips and collaboration, store files, calculate expenses and conversions, send requested notifications, offer support, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and improve service stability.

8. Sharing

Collaborative trip data is visible to participants according to the feature. Vault documents are designed to remain personal and are not displayed to other travelers.

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with contracted processors, authorities when legally required, or in a corporate transaction with appropriate safeguards.

9. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Brazil. We seek safeguards compatible with applicable law and limit processing to what is necessary for the service.

10. Security

We apply technical and organizational controls proportionate to risk, including authentication, trip-level authorization and file protection. No system is completely immune; relevant incidents will be handled and reported when required by law.

11. Retention

We keep data while the account is active or as needed for the stated purposes. After deletion, data is removed or anonymized except for limited retention required by law, fraud prevention, security or legal claims.

Backups may require a technical period to expire and remain protected during that interval.

12. Your rights

You may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, restriction, deletion, portability where applicable, information about sharing, review of automated decisions and withdrawal of consent.

Exercising these rights is free and does not depend on a plan. We may request reasonable information to verify identity.

13. Account deletion

You can delete your account and its associated data directly in the app, from the account settings. If you prefer, you can also request deletion by email, sending the message from the address registered on the account to contato@dngx.com.br. In either case, deleting the account starts removal of associated data, subject to the retention described here.

14. Children and teenagers

TripPad is not directed to children. Minors should use the service only with the participation and authorization of a legal guardian, as required by applicable law.

15. Website and cookies

The public website only uses technical resources needed for operation and security. If measurement tools are added later, this policy and consent controls will be updated before activation.

16. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The date above will change, and material updates may be announced in the app or by email.

17. Contact

Privacy and data rights: privacy@trippad.app. General support: support@trippad.app. Never send passwords, authentication codes or full card data by email.
